Since coming to BSSM, it has been a whirlwind of getting to know a new group of people, starting a new school, living in a new city, and developing a newfound trust in God. Now that it has been almost two months since I’ve been in Redding, everything doesn’t feel so new anymore. Patterns and routines are emerging…
All I can think of is money.
It’s crazy how it’s so easy to think in terms of my own lack rather than what I have access to as a daughter of God. He is wealthy beyond my imagination and my Father, yet I find myself constantly questioning whether He will actually provide for me. And I even have testimonies to prove that God has provided for me before so He will do it again! Also, His NAME is Jehovah Jireh, which means “The Lord will provide.” AND God gave me a song about Him providing last year so that I would be prepared to put my trust in Him for provision when I need it this year!! *sigh*
This is literally how my brain works.
I’ve been learning how to take my thoughts captive so that I don’t stay in a place of unbelief, but actually put faith in God and have hope for my situations. This comes from 2 Corinthians 10:5. It says “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” I try to identify the thought, give it to Jesus, and ask Him what He thinks instead.
Testimony: Last Friday I gave a nickel ($.05) as an offering. It was all that was in my purse at the time. (I didn’t have my wallet with me) And the next day I was informed that someone (that I had not asked) wanted to give me $500. So God actually multiplied the nickel by 10,000. Feel free to receive this testimony and believe God to multiply money in your own life. He is so good and so generous!
NEWS: In this School of Supernatural Ministry, we go on a missions trip in March and I have been selected to go to Peru!! When I was making the decision about which trips to apply for, God gave me a funny confirmation for this trip. I was stepping out of a friend’s car and there was a fully wrapped Andes mint on the ground. The Andes Mountains stretch through Peru so I took it as a confirmation because I had previously decided to place Peru as my first choice!
If you are interested in supporting me on this trip, you can see how by clicking the support button on the top of the page. Thanks and I pray for God’s blessings to abound in your life!
I’ve never written a blog before and I’m experimenting. I welcome your feedback. Would you like more specifics? More pictures? A video maybe? More on my experiences? More thoughts? Or something else?
